Children in Worship

First Baptist Church of Tucker is committed to living out the Biblical ideal expressed in Psalm 71:17-18: “Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.”

People of all ages are commanded to declare God’s marvelous deeds and praise Him as their God. It is actually the duty of the older generations to ensure that the faith is passed down effectively and thoroughly to the younger generations that follow. God values the voices of all of His children, and so we seek to utilize the gifts of all generations in a visible way during our Sunday morning times of gathered worship.

Children participate on Sunday mornings with Bible Study at 9:30 and then in worship at 11:00. Children begin at 11:00 in worship and move to extended session where they enjoy activities and songs until they join worship again at the end of the service singing the ending song. What a joy it is for our children to be actively involved as we worship together.
